UV Glue

Bohle 665-0 for Glass to Glass

Characteristics:

·Crystal clear
·Low-viscosity = thin-bodied
·Excellent capillary action
·Relatively hard and brittle

Suitable bonding materials:

·Glass to glass

BO 665-0 for glass to glass, 100gr/100cc,

Product Description

This UV adhesive is crystal-clear and thin-bodied (low viscosity). It displays very good capillary properties allowing it to be applied from the outside and penetrating into the gap by itself of pre-assembled sheets.
Due to its high purity this adhesive is used in applications where high optical standards have to be met, such as in the construction of glass cabinets, glass furniture, etc. It is particularly suitable for bonding glass to glass.
The adhesive’s low viscosity makes time-consuming reworking unnecessary, so that it can be applied rapidly and most economically. Highly suitable for application of VERIFIX dispensing systems.
As with almost all UV curing adhesives, the B-665-0 is not durably water-resistant. The use of the adhesive as well as the finished objects in wet environments should be avoided to prevent any possible loss of strength.
The cured adhesive is very hard, i.e. little elastic. This characteristic must be considered when constructing glass objects.

Bohle 682-0 for Glass to Metal, Stone and Wood

Characteristics:

·Transparent
·Medium viscosity = thick-bodied
·Very high final strength

Suitable bonding materials:

·Glass to Metal
·Glass to Glass
·Glass to Wood
·Glass to Stone
·Glass to (some) thermoplastics

BO 682-0, for Glass to Glass, Metal, Stone, Wood.

Product Description

This UV curing adhesive is transparent but not completely clear. It is relatively thick-bodied (medium viscosity) and must be applied to the bonding surface prior to assembling the parts.
Due to the very high final strength of this adhesive, it is especially suitable for statically demanding bonds. Glass/metal bonds work out especially well – it is preferably used when bonding material hinges to glass doors.
Many other materials can be bonded with this adhesive. Apart from metal and glass, it is also suitable to bond stone, wood and a variety of thermoplastics to glass. As not all thermoplastics can be bonded, prior trials are always recommended when working with these materials.

Bohle 690-0 Humidity resistant

Characteristics:

·Crystal clear
·Relatively thin consistency
·Acceptable capillary action
·High elasticity
·High absorption of vibration

Suitable bonding materials:

·Glass to Glass
·Glass to Metal
·Glass to Wood
·Glass to Stone
·Glass to (some) thermoplastics

BO 690-0 Humidity resistant, 85gr/100cc,

Product Description

This adhesive is also relatively thin in consistency (medium viscosity), crystal clear and shows good capillary action with glass up to 6 mm.
As this adhesive absorbs very little water and its mechanical characteristics change only minimally when in contact with moisture, it is especially suitable for bonds that are exposed to humidity (bathrooms, outdoors, etc.).
However, this adhesive must not be completely covered with water – shower cabinets, etc., must be sealed with a crystal clear silicone. This adhesive is not suitable for aquariums.
The relatively high elasticity is an advantage when bonding brittle materials such as glass as it compensates for tensions and vibrations. This also applies when bonding different materials to each other, such as glass to wood, to metal and some thermoplastics.
This adhesive is also very suitable to bond larger surfaces up to max. 1 m2. It spreads well and prevents the forming of disturbing air bubbles which are hard to remove.
